I've bought 2 of those.
One went right on my (later) 97. Then I rebuilt my daughter's (early) 97 and I absolutely could not get it to seat fully. The old one went right on. I ended up re-using her old one since the rebuild was really only a bad pump seal, so there was no real mess in the fluid. I would have preferred to put the new one on, but I got tired of fighting it.
FWIW, I tried really hard to find the factory stall speed for a 32RH TC but couldn't find anything. I'm not 100% conviced the CR-90 is 100% identical to OEM; my shift points moved after the rebuild of mine but not hers, and the only difference in components is that she has the OEM TC and I have the CR-90. Now I did also change my TV cable, but no amount of adjustment has put the 1-2 shift exactly where I want it under normal pedal. I'm interested to know what your results are.
