I'm removing the stock shifter lever on the 241for a RubiCrawler installation. I've removed the yoke, shielded the output seal, and put heat on the bolt. Even after getting it hot with a torch, I can't remove it with locking pliers. Any suggestions? I thought about just putting a washer in the stock lever and using that, but the lever supplied for the RubiCrawler is about an inch shorter and I don't know if there would be enough adjustment.
