2004 Rubicon, 4.0L, Automatic, 257K miles. Everything functions as designed. Never been in an accident. I bought a new grand cherokee so the wrangler needs a new home. Great frame and very little rust.

$6,200 negotiable

VIN# 1J4FA69SX4P793216

Modifications from Stock
Derale trans cooler with pan installed temperature monitor and interior console gauge. Trans fluid and filter changed during cooler install at 220K. Recent fluid and filter change at 250K. Using Mopar ATF. Jeep has had a trans cooler installed since new (front radiator mounted) but switched to Derale when I replaced the radiator. Trans fluid and filter changed every 15K.

Bumpers: Quadratec front and Fishbone rear

Warn M-8000 with synthetic rope and wired remote

Lightforce HTX2 Hybrid lights controlled via relay through stock fog light switch

Hella H4 headlight conversion with 55w/110w bulbs and new wiring.

Headlight relay mod to allow high beams and driving lights on together

Axle lock switch mod to allow locking in 4 Hi

Crown Heavy duty steering kit

Kenwood head unit with Bluetooth. All new speakers, including console subwoofer.

Bartact seat covers with seat heaters.

Weathertec floor liners and rear cargo tray. Note the rear lap seat belts have been removed as I store the rear seat out of the jeep for more space. I have the belts for the new owner. It is a simple reinstall.

Rear LED brake lights

Trailer hitch wired for 4-pin (ball insert not included)

I tinted the side windows myself with a DIY kit and although good enough for me, it is definitely an amateur install with a few gaps and bubbles.

Replacements/repairs made over the last 40K miles

OME springs (2933 front and 2942 rear). Jeep was sagging from the worn-out factory springs.

OME shocks (had Bilstein’s prior and preferred them to the OME). Only changed them during the spring refresh.

Factory Mopar control arms (bushing were worn-out)

All u-joints (preventive maintenance)

Front wheel bearings (preventive maintenance)

Rear main oil seal replaced at 223K (leaking)

Brakes replaced at about 240K. Including new calipers, rotors, pads, etc. Along with complete brake fluid flush.

Entire exhaust. Muffler was rusted out and cats were preventive maintenance. (Eastern cats and Dynomax cat back). Dynomax cat back has been on for about 8 years, and the muffler is currently rotting through and will need replacement soon. Great sound but should be lasting longer in my opinion.

MSD coil pack with new XP985 plugs about 8K miles ago along with camshaft synchronizer and CPS. No issues just replaced for preventive prior to a long trip. Jeep still had the original CMS and CPS.

New radiator, water pump, thermostat and housing, hoses, fan clutch, belt tensioner. All Mopar (except belt). Water pump was leaking and decided to refresh the entire colling system during replacement. This was about 3 years ago.

Toyo Open Country AT III, size 245 75/16. Purchased 9/1/2023 at 242,275 miles. Currently measuring 8mm tread depth. They have been rotated once since purchase. Lifetime tire maintenance from Discount Tire which is transferable to new owner.

Oil and filter every 5K. Using Valvoline 10W-40 and Mopar filters.

New turn signal switch as the original one quit working.

New windshield wiper linkage and motor (old linkage bushing failed).

New hvac control unit/switches.

New hvac blower motor and resistor.

New tailgate and rear window weather strips.

Other items/info included with the sale (shown in photos)

Garmin DriveAssist 50 LMT. It has a dashcam, rear backup camera, and lifetime map updates.

Charging phone cradle.

ARB recovery kit . The kit includes a snatch strap, tree trunk protector, winch extension strap, shackles, and snatch block. Has been used a few times but is still in great shape.
Rhino USA Kinetic Rope Recovery Kit (7/8in x 30ft) - Heavy Duty Offroad Snatch Strap - Includes 2 Soft Shackles (never been used).

Last Blackstone oil report from 242K miles. (see pics)

Thule bike rack.

Doors have never been off. Hardtop off once to replace speakers.

Overall paint in decent condition for age. It has some minor trail rash from getting to my favorite fishing spots and the original fender flares need some TLC. Two minor surface rust spots on top of driver’s front fender. Also, a dent in the hood (see pics) where I dropped something off a garage shelf onto it. This dent really bugs me but I haven’t been able to find anyone to fix it reasonably priced since it’s above the hood support seam and most want big dollars to fix.

Excellent price for that rig. Hardtop, doors, axles, and transfer case alone are worth your asking price. Hope it sells quick

Appears to be in real good condition considering it’s in Indiana. 260K miles through, man that’s a lot.

I know, who would wanna drive a TJ 260k lol.

I agree it has alot of miles. I've taken this TJ on 3 trips from Indy to Alaska (~12K miles each trip) and never had a issue. Routinely back and forth from Indy to northern Minnesota for fishing trips, and multiple winter trips from Indy to Okeechobee for fishing. Just returned from Florida with it prior to the holidays. It runs great. Can go all day at 75mph on cruise control. And burn about 15-16mpg doing it.
Is this sold? I can’t imagine it not selling pretty quickly.
