I’m towards the end of swapping my 98 from a 2.5 to 4.0. My question is I noticed my 2.5 high pressure line has a sensor/wiring connector on it. The 4.0 high pressure hose does not have this port. Do I just leave the connector off? I searched the parts diagrams for 1998 TJ and they also show no port on the 4.0 hose.
Just for info: I’m using the correct ECU I sourced from a 98 4.0. So maybe the 4.0 ECU doesn’t need to read the line pressure like the 2.5 does?
