Well, since we bought TJ in June, and we were on a camping vacation with our truck & camper in the southwest for 6 weeks, thought today would be a good time to clean-up the interior. I pulled the seat covers(very nice condition Jeep camo covers)off and was surprised by the condition of the seats. Seat fabric is near perfect, but the foam is starting to be a little sacked out on driver's side. Shampooed seats and carpets. Now just waiting to dry and then re-vaccuum.

New seat foam is available at Summit Racing. Very simple task to replace it.
Not really any tips. Just gave a good vacuum & used spray on upholstery cleaner and re-vaccuum. It was really well taken care of by previous owner.

why wait ? It only takes 2 hrs and thats if you're slow. Hardest part is getting the seat out.
Just because it’s not an immediate necessity at the moment. My cushions are still pretty good, but next summer my project is going to be a refresh of the entire interior.
Looks great but you've never truly cleaned up a TJ until you've pulled the dash and carpet.

That is a new level of deep cleaning!
I pulled the seats & carpet to clean mine after a camping weekend. Well that, and 27 years of built up dirt. Power washed the carpet & the inside of the tub, although I didn't pull the dash. Regardless, it feels like a new jeep and it didn't take any real effort. High ROI on this task.
I pull my carpet, hang it at the car wash, spray it with upholstery cleaner, and power wash it clean.

That he may well be, that he may well be...but he didn't strip and clean that tub just because he was bored one weekend and got the urge to detail his Jeep at a level of anal retentiveness the likes of which humans have seldom witnessed, did ya @macleanflood?
In before mac blames his wife for giving him the opportunity to detail a tub.
