1999 TJ 2.5 5-speed intermittent electrical issues

1999 Wrangler TJ 2.5 5 speed. I lose all of my gauges and air bag light comes on. No power loss on engine at all, just gauges and dashboard.
Any thoughts on what to check for??

Does it just happen at random, or do you see any pattern? How often?

Find the ground for the cluster. Didn't older TJ's also have issues with the connector going into the cluster? Corrosion/creeping off the pins?
