I’m looking for pictures of how these jeeps came back in 1998 . I have a gunmetal 98 SE I believe . I still have remnants of the decals in the doors. I want to repaint it and I would like to put the graphics back to original.

Somebody else please chime in, but I never knew of any factory graphics on the doors of the TJ's.

Can you post pictures of the remnants of the graphics on your door? A picture is worth at least 6,532 words adjusted for inflation.

+1

To my knowledge there weren't any factory graphics on the doors, but dealers were known to put some on back in the day.

There were no graphics on the doors. TJs never had graphics unless the dealer installed them.

Post some pics of what you have in mind. My 97 came with these, but as others have mentioned already, I think they were a dealer add-on.

This all that’s left on my doors , and someone out wrangler on the hood .

The "Wrangler" on the hood did not come on any '97s
The side door graphics did not come on any either.
I like em for you - just didnt come from factory that way.
I'm 100% sure on both fronts.

I appreciate all the input on this one, my step son’s 97 has faded graphics too, very 90’s looking . Must’ve been a dealer add on like mentioned above.

Let us know if you find anything close as a replacement. I've thought about bringing my pinstripes back.
