1997 Teal TJ on Craigslist, Phoenix

From the pics that is definitely a 2.5L.

Good catch, so the seller knows nothing about the Jeep, but he does know the oil was changed every 2,500 miles, it gets 27 MPG, and it was barely driven. Plus, they are only asking $11,500 because they need the money for "medical purpose". Sounds solid.

The 2.5 would make it a no go for me although it's a good choice for a motorhome toad as with a 2.5, manual and a soft top I believe that's the lightest configuration you can get? Something like 3,200 lbs if I recall.

How much does that 2.5 reduce the value compared to a 4.0 all with else being equal?

Just put on $3500 rims (probably used) and tires (SHREDDER, whatever those are). Who names a tire "SHREDDER"?

It's certainly clean. Since I own a 4.0L Sahara in really good shape I wouldn't mind a 2.5L beater for winter, but not for that price.
