06 TJ ABS bracket removal?

Is there any reason I can't completely remove my ABS bracket below the brake booster? I am replacing the fender and have it all apart but the bracket is honestly toast. I would rather remove it than put the rusty thing back in. Any issues? I do not have ABS so don't have any use for it.

It makes a handy location for mounting an air compressor and does seem to provide some support to the wheel well area, but I don't believe it will cause an issue to leave it out.

If you remove the tray, then you still have the top of the fender mount right below it.
