Need to tap into the Ignition switch 12v+ fused power for my ls ignition wire on the harness and also need to connect the small purple starter wire to ignion switch.

I found the ignition switch wire, I traced the wire from fuse #22 in fuse box in engine bay to ignition switch plug under steering column, found the small red and the big purple n red, both go to the fuse.

which of these two wires should I tap into for the small purple wire off the starter, and the Ignition wire feed from the gm harness under dash wire?

Thanks

Tap the red at pin 1. That keeps the starter circuit on fuse 22 as it is from the factory.
The red/pink at pin 4 is from fuse 13 in the PDC, and is for the ignition switched feed to fuses 17 (multi-function switch and wiper) and 18 (accessory socket) behind the glove box.

So the purple starter wire connect should go to pin 1 (B+)?
On my 04 fuse #22 is the ignition switch. Starter relay is on fuse 32 which is has a big wire like the purple signal wire on starter, but when I connect it there the car starts as soon as I connect the battery. And start fuse is #6

Now I have the purple starter wire connected to ignition switch on pin#6 yellow, and the ls ignition wire from ls pcm to ignition switch pin# 2 blue wire . The engine starts fine, but I am worries that that yellow wire on pin#6 is only 18 gauge while the purple starter wire is bigger.

I guess it will be fine as that purple battery wire is just a trigger wire for the starter
