I offered mine up for free, one member said they wanted it and never showed. I put it up on fb marketplace. I got one taker that asked if I would mind driving 45 minutes to drop it off.
It went to the local landfill.

I haven't even bothered posting mine and I'm too cheap for the landfill. I keep staring at my grinder and wondering if it's worth a disc.

We cleaned out three houses, it took two 40 yard dumpsters and the metal guy to pick up a huge load. I was asked if I was going to sell any of the stuff? My answer was no way in hell.

I tried to get rid of the engine and transmission from my 01 Jeep, figured it would be easier to sell it on the junk frame, I posted pictures.

I get calls asking if they could register it? Can I test drive it? There is no body, no seats etc.

I decided after that I'm done trying to sell, or give anything away.

I feel your pain. I’ve listed a lot of parts for very reasonable prices, and people still try to hammer me down.
I’ve tried fb marketplace and Craigslist, nothing.
When I offer stuff for free, then people get interested, until I ask them to cover the shipping. Then they complain.
