I have a set of RS5000X shocks for sale with less than 4000 miles of no off-road on them. If you read this forum much you will know that these are the "go to" shock of choice. I switched them out for shorter ones. These are The RS55239 and RS55241 and would be perfect for a 3-4" lifted Jeep...
Now this is purely a theoretical question and I am still a far, far ways away from any potential outboarding, but could you outboard using Rancho shocks? It seems as if the Ranchos are universally recommended as far as what shocks to upgrade too, with the exception of outboarding, in which Fox...
My shocks are worn out again and I need a new set of rears. I'm fairly hard on the Jeep and the rears seem to take allot of that. My current set are RS5000X and they lasted 9K. My previous Sachs shocks lasted 26K but I think I put up with them worn out a lot longer. They are bumped correctly...
So I was about to pull the trigger on a ome lift but I have decided to go with the bds 2 inch lift http://bds-suspension.com/kit-customizer?kid=417H I was wondering if I should just get the base kit with the nx2 shocks or spend the extra $360 and get the fox 2.0 shocks. I have the money but...
I have a set of bilstein 4600 stock height shocks that I just took off of my tj to install a 3 inch suspension lift.
They are still in really good shape. Only about 2 years old and approximately 15k pavement miles.
The black stuff is rustoleum overspray.

So, as many jeepers before me, I've snapped 3/4 of my rear upper shock bolts on my 05 due to the 13 years of salt water splashes. While researching possible solutions, I stumbled upon this part from Rough Country
It is a flag nut for an XJ to replace the welded nuts to make it easier handle.
I...
This seems to be unheard of in the jeep community, but I would like to retain the stock suspension height/setup. I believe after 320k and 17 years its on the list to replace.
My question is, what brand would you recommend, and what model or sizes do i need to maintain the stock ride
Thanks in...
I have a 2000 jeep tj with a 2.5 inch lift I need to find cheap shocks that work well, I found pro comp shocks, but they don’t have an opinion for 2.5 inches of lift, it’s only 0-2 inches or 3-4 inches or something like that, will the shocks for a 3inch lift work for my 2.5 inch lift?
So I just recently bought some Rancho rs5000x shocks that I am going to install tomorrow but I was wondering what the next step is to make the Jeep smoother driving on road? I do have the Currie Correctlync steering and RC trackbar. My next guess was control arms but just wondering what else can...
I have a 2006 Rubicon. I just upgraded to BFG 285/75/16 KO2 (kept the stock Moab rims cause I like em!!) but of course, now they rub on the frame rail when I turn hard . Want to put a suspension lift on but nothing too aggressive. My offroad is maybe 20% of use. Would love to soften up the...
My TJ was a DD when I first got it. I put a lift on it shortly afterwards. It's been running a RE 3.5" lift kit for around 6 or 7 years. I was finally able to replace it with another DD. I've been keeping the miles off of it for just over two years. Now, I mostly wheel it and take it on the...

Hi everyone, Im planning on putting on the Stock JK suspension on my TJ (3inch lift from research). Would I be able to run run 33s with no problems. I do have 2 inch wheel spacers, if those help. Thanks!
While working on Ole Yeller today ( I'll post the details of what we did on the build thread here: https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/2000-tj-ol-yeller.1791/ ), we noticed that Yeller was leaning slightly to the right.
We hauled it up on the lift and looked around. What I'm looking for from...
Hello All,
I drive an '05 with a 2.5" lift. I am looking to replace the front and rear shocks. I found the correct size for the rear, but I can not for the front. Can I just pick the front shocks for 0-2" lift, or the 3"-4.5" lift?
Advice is appreciated! Thanks!
Keep Calm
&
TJ on.
So I'm learning more and more about my jeep every day. It apparently has coil spacers for the lift and a couple of them are in rough shape. I'd like to upgrade the springs instead of getting new spacers. I'd also like to get blue springs to match my jeep, but I don't know the spring size I need...
Hi All
I'm not sure what to do about my error code. Thanks @Chris for the list. Apparently the warranty says free replacement of Cat for 8 yrs or 80k miles. Do I get free replacement because I have 52k?
As well, what size Bilstein shocks should I get with a 2 inch lift? This will be my first...
I am looking for advise on the proper length Rancho 5000X shocks for my 99 WRANGLER sport. It appears to have a 6" Rough Country lift, at least the current wore out shocks are rough county brand. I come up with the 6" lift was by a chart that I found on the forum. The approximate spring lengths...

These shocks were on my stock 2005 TJ when I got it in December, 2016. I lifted 2" and so they are now for sale. Previous owner only had Jeep for 3,000 miles and these shocks were put on by the owner previous to him, a...
