So I’m changing the pinion seal and a few other things today.. I noticed something that worries me when opening the seal up. The package says Dana 30 but the set is manual says it’s the right part number for a Dana 44. Also they look a little different so that’s another cause for alarm.

My dana35 rear diff, pinions, and bearings are all shot in my 98 sahara. To rebuild the axle the parts cost would be roughly 1400 not including labor.
