There’s still not a definite answer if it will remain open. They’re not taking any reservations for the campsites, and I believe that all the folks camping were asked to leave on Tuesday. I’m not on Facebook so I’m a little out of the loop on the current conversations happening about it, but...

Two days of playing around on some trails. Day 1 was spent at Crossbar Ranch in Davis, OK. Day 2 was spent on some fun hills at Lake Frederick. Crossbar has some serious rock crawling trails, and it’s a good place to test your skills. A cousin of mine busted his rear axle shaft towards the end...

    Technology that hasn't evolved

    1. Barbed wire for fencing 2. Musical instruments with the exception of electrified instruments 3. Hand wound watches and clocks. Yes, watches and clocks have evolved, but hand wound timepieces have not changed much. 4. Wood burning stoves 5. Wives cooking and cleaning… no, never mind, I was...

    New radiator needed

I installed a Denso a couple months back, and it’s held up well so far. I pushed it pretty hard a few days ago, and the temperature gauge never got above normal. It was close to 100 degrees outside.

Thoughts on this RV travel trailer?

Airstreams are the rare exception in regards to a quality build, but the price is reflected accordingly. I have yet to see an Airstream with any major issues (new and old). I own an 1973 Airstream Land Yacht that I I rent out for short term stays. It still has the original plywood floor, and...

Thoughts on this RV travel trailer?

As an owner of an RV park, they are all built about the same nowadays. It’s very much hit and miss in regards to quality. If you decide to look at it, have the owner hook the electricity and water up for you. Test all the systems thoroughly, look for water staining on the ceiling which would...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Did some three wheelin’ today. I also pulled an JL out of the mud later down the road.

I love the old Bonnevilles. I’m on the lookout for a new old style Bonneville (2008 or older) for a scrambler build.

    Radiator Exploded

That’s crazy! Glad that you’re on the mend, and it wasn’t a worse outcome. At least you’re in some beautiful country while you’re healing up.

For all of us with two wheels also

Yes it is. Until recently, I hadn’t been on a dirt bike for about 25 years. Thought I would start with the 300 for now and upgrade later to either a true adventure bike or the Triumph 900 Scrambler. I really like the Triumph’s for some reason.

He didn’t even have anybody hold his beer. He just finished it off and threw it on the ground before he hit it. I went over the front of my handlebars about a week ago after hitting some unexpected deep mud, but I didn’t look anywhere near as graceful as that guy. Here’s a peaceful pic from...

    SOLD Avenger Supercharger

I have the same setup in my 06 LJ, and I have AC. The MPG isn’t great, but it’s basically a supercharged brick. I’ve never had the power tested, but it definitely has more get up and go than a stock TJ.

Those guys are half crazy but also great dirt bike riders. I watch a lot of their YouTube videos, and they always make me laugh.

Good to hear the positive reviews because it’s my next planned upgrade.

I’ve looked forward to seeing all the pics and reading about the adventures over the last few days. Looks like it was a ton of fun! Hopefully, I can join y’all in a year or two from now.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Weird random fact… my mom was an assistant superintendent at EVIT about 20 years ago.

What did you do to your TJ today?

I’m no mechanic, but I don’t think that you should be licking them.

    PO Regrets

Took me about 20 minutes to finally spot the Jeep and another 20 to see Rebacon.
