I haven't, but I'll add this to the list of things to rule out. When I'm wheeling I air down with a rapid tire deflator that has a gauge but I also have a spare gauge that I could compare results with.

If I understand you, you're saying the interior edge of the tire should be on the left-hand said of that ridge aka the safety bead?

This is out in the high desert here in So Cal, known as Calico, near Barstow. Lots of tight canyons and abandoned mines to explore.

I think I'm going to try them at 12 psi next time and see how that goes. If this problem continues I'll have to think about trying to try and clean them up the rim. Was a fun day otherwise!

Is this something that I could do myself now that the tires are already mounted? Could I completely deflate the tire on the rim and clean up the mounting surface and get some tire lube?

Tires are 33 12.5 15s. I believe the wheels are American Racing 172s which are 8".

My BFGs were load c I went back and found a photo.👍 That's what I'm trying to figure out is whether I'm just running too low of a pressure for this particular set of tires or if it's possibly related to the bubba at the used tire shop that installed these.

Yes same wheels. The sidewall says it is a 3 ply sidewall, maybe that's part of the problem? I think the BFGs are 10 ply? They are load range c as well, but so were my BFGs.

It looks like the bracket that spans the shoes had springs on both sides instead of just the one yellow one? Also, is your cable routed correctly? It looks like it is running behind that tab on the cable guide on the bottom but in front of the tab on top?

I get the desire for the unicorn, but man what you've got right now is pretty sweet. That's one of my favorite colors. Does your current rig have lockers?
