Man, that's too bad to hear. I had planned to get up there this morning but the weather put me off. I found the trail a little challenging the last time I ran it (on 31s), but I really enjoyed it. Lots of good ledges to climb. How disappointing!

I should clarify that my DTs were nice and quiet when new. But by the first rotation at 5k miles, they were starting to hum a little and things progressed from there.

The answer is, "It depends..." The stock rear bumper may interfere with a 33 if you don't have a body lift. Also, what you need to do to properly support the tire with snubbers depends on the offset of the wheel the tire is on and the width of the tire (33x10.50, 33x12.50, 2885/75R16, etc.).

Do you have a body lift? If not, is your transfer case skid still properly in place with an intact transmission mount?
