Anybody up for a random meme dump?

That shit is like roofing mastic. No matter how careful you are, it always ends up on something else.

    My 1973 K10 Chevy Cheyenne

Very nice! The square body GM trucks have always been a favorite of mine. I've owned a few of them.

    Anyone into genealogy

Well not necessarily. I know a guy that was taken to court over 20 years after he fathered a child, and the mother disappeared with the baby and could not be found. 20 years later he gets served to appear in court for back child support. He ended up having to pay her 18 years of back support...

    Anyone into genealogy

I think my Dad had an idea that he had a child before my sister and I were born as he would sometimes joke by saying "well you never know, someday someone might knock on the door and say hi Dad". We didn't find out about our brother until about 3 years after my Dad passed away. Funny thing is...

    Anyone into genealogy

My Sister and I found out from DNA testing that we have a half brother. He grew up about 30 miles from us.

We don't need no steeeeeeekin' 4wd or wide tires!

When I was in Moab in 2011, there was a guy out there in a Ford Crown Victoria running around. It was surprising where he could take that thing.

    Piss & Moan Table

I absolutely hate looking at directions on any electronic device. I much prefer the paper version that I can open to the page and can read it without expanding the screen and then have to move the screen up/down/sideways.

    Pellet Stoves

We have a Quadrafire Mt Vernon pellet stove. Here in Northeastern Nevada we use around 3 tons per year, and that's setting the heat at 72 degrees during the day (we are retired and home a lot) and setting it back to 63 degrees at night. As mentioned in a reply above, plan on a backup power...

Jeep sales tanking, buyers say too much tech

In a little over 7,000 miles this year (about half towing my 15k 5th wheel), I've used 10 gallons of DEF.

Jeep sales tanking, buyers say too much tech

Yeah I had that update done a year ago by Ford, I believe it is the 22E07 recall. Only thing I've noticed is that the truck uses more DEF which supposedly equals less EGR. Everything works on mine also, just have a couple bugs with the Sync system, one which I've mentioned which causes CarPlay...

Jeep sales tanking, buyers say too much tech

I use the maintenance part of the app in case Ford has any questions for potential warranty issues. I do almost all of the maintenance on my truck and document it including pictures of the receipts for oil, filters, checking fluids, adding DEF, etc. Maybe a waste of time but if ever questioned...

Jeep sales tanking, buyers say too much tech

The last Ford App update doesn't work as well as the previous, as I've found out on my 22 F450. Lots of people complaining on the forums, mostly that you can't update your maintenance/service work via the app any longer. To do this now you have to go into the website to add anything. Ford is...

    Hot Clutch Squawk

@SSTJ Pull the slave cylinder out of the bell housing and inspect the plastic ball end on the slave rod. Mine was very dirty. I cleaned the end of the slave rod, and using a long screwdriver with a clean rag around the end of the screwdriver, reached in a cleaned the socket that the slave ball...

    Surprise 220 V electrical

Man is it ever. Nothing to f around with. I became involved with Arc Flash training starting around 2008, and went to several NFPA 70E seminars/training until I retired in June of 21. We wore AF Clothing 100% of the time (Level 1 Clothing), along with EH rated footware. Most of the sites in...
