Best place to find radiator for 01 Sahara 5-speed?

Compression and leak down test first yes because it'll tell you a lot about what's going on and if you need to do anything further. If you do replace the head gasket then at least you'll have benchmark numbers. Do check the stamping on your head... should be able to see it through the oil fill...

Down to maybe 3 bolts holding the transmission in place

Frame looks pretty gone to me. If you really want to send it I'd run a couple of 1" welds to hold the skid plate on in lieu of bolts. Assuming you can get a clean weld. But you really need a new frame or repair sections welded in. -Mac

    Gear Pattern Check?

If you just replaced the bearings you're probably just fine. I'd send it. But let's wait for a more experienced opinion. -Mac

    Gear Pattern Check?

So you just replaced bearings in your new to you 3.73 axles? Yes you need to do something with your gear paint that probably involves more gear oil...I'd love to find an exact and repeatable formula. And more pressure on the ring gear as you make the pattern. -Mac

Best place to find radiator for 01 Sahara 5-speed?

As easy as a head gasket is on a 4.0, I'd certainly be doing it. Might want to do a compression and leak down test first. I'm going to say Denso for radiator replacement. Rock Auto. Yes, they suck. They appear to suck less than the others and they're around $100. There are pages and pages of...

Do you have a winch? How often do you use it?

Use the Harbor Freight 9500 and a Black Magic Brakes/Wizard Recovery Gear synthetic rope. I added a $15 wireless remote from Amazon too. Or find a used Warn...you seem very capable of finding good deals. -Mac

    Rolled my Rubicon! Need advice

Fix it! I frame and tub swapped my 97 TJ in eight days and took it on 1600 mile wheeling trip to Canada and back down the WABDR. I see a good excuse for aluminum fenders! -Mac

    Dana 35 pinion offset

Sounds like you're replacing a pinion seal and need to remove the yoke. I measure the depth of the exposed pinion threads with a caliper and return the nut plus red loctite to the same position... aiming for exactly the same or a touch but not much tighter... probably akin your 5 in/lbs...
