    Gear pattern check

Yeah I tried finding outter shims and failed. I have a clamshell puller. It just hooks the shim stack and murders it. Going to add .10 or .20 to the pinion tomorrow and see what I get. -Mac

    Gear pattern check

Added .10 to the passenger side. Got the backlash to .10. My bearing puller murders my shim stacks. Went from .28 to .38 on the passenger side. -Mac

Yeah the pinion on this one is marked 3.27 and according to the Billavista and other research that's about .6 completely out of spec. My original is 2.261. -Mac

Yeah the bracketing is the hard part. No setup bearings so I'm trying to minimize pulling the bearings off. The backlash is 12 so I'm going to try and add a little to the passenger side and see if I get better contact. -Mac

    Dorman or Bartact seat heaters?

I put my Dorman under my Bartacs and they work fine. Definitely hot. I only use the high setting when I'm in insulated coveralls with the top down in the snow. -Mac

Quality issues. Should have bought Revolution. Should have used this as an excuse to bump to 5.13s. Thought I could toss these in and be close enough to need a minor adjustment. -Mac

    From one noise to another

My OEM sealed went 20k in the PNW rain. I'm still sticking with non greasable but when I do my yearly tear down to regrease the JJs on my Savvy arms I'm going to pack new grease in all the u-joints. Will be highly entertaining. -Mac
