Carnage Thread

I fixed my hardtop and it was a lot worse! If I can do it then you can probably do it better. :)

I found it super easy to fix the hardtop. Taaadaahhhh

Those lower control arms are amazingly thin. You can tell by how sharp the crease is where they folded that they aren't more than .120 wall. That is really bad.
Why in the world would anyone sell a product like that for a heavier Jeep that is subject to impact? Never mind, they don't care!

Load them trying to climb something and then bump them on a rock. Folds them up like the stock tie rod for the same reasons. Thin wall tube has a lot of resistance to compression loads until you kink or side load the middle.
Yeah, that JK doesn’t really look built for Pritchett - it probably shouldn’t have even been in the rocks with those arms.

Nothing to do with caring. Vast majority of folks won't ever work them hard enough to matter.
Regardless of how it's used, I'm betting you would never sell a product like that!

yeah most mall parking lots dont compare to Pritchett i would guess
mine is nowhere even close to being able to try that and i know it
of course i'm not saying if i where there i wouldn't try

They really aren’t all that quality. I also don’t produce enough refuse off-roading/camping to need one (even on the multi-night trips). I’m bored of the overlanding world.
They are only $45 but I’m leaning towards a decent canvas duffle instead of another. It hangs down too far and I ground it into the rock on the escalator so it’s not surprising it was shredded.
