What did you do to your TJ today?

Yes its very true.....our prime minister is very trigger happy with lockdowns...but we only have 5.5million people here in NZ so it wouldn't take much to clean us out.
They should've just closed the borders as we are only a couple islands and ride it out till the vaccines arrive.
Same a couple of weeks ago in Perth! they locked down the State and established borders within borders because of one positive case! and it hadn't spread to a single Person, I call it out as a False positive. This is the new norm forever because the so called Vaccine does not stop you getting it or spreading it.

Did you know Covid 19 only comes out between 5pm and 5am and can tell the time! It gives authorities ample warning time to arrange a full shut down before it starts lurking and just disappears again on Government advise after 5 day lockdown,7 day lockdown, 10 day lockdown or a 14 day quarantine. lol

Got the front adapters and new wheels on the TJ. Had to knock some rust off one of the hubs and get some encouragement from a 2x4 and rubber mallet to get the passenger side adapter on but super pleased with the new look. Had to order some extended thread lugs per the advice of resident expert Jerry for the rears.

What would y'all ask for the old steelies and tires for on Facebook/Craigslist?

Going to tackle my AC issues in the coming weeks.

Found out recently that my soft top has a bit of a leak, kind of above the driver side near the windscreen bar, it’s just deteriorating really (original 17 year old top). While I save up for my Trektop, I got this cheap rampage cover to tide me over for now. Just fitted it as it’s about to piss down soon. Bit snug but covers the cab all good.
the wife’s compass needs a clean so the rain will do that :)

Did new plugs in my 06 -Xp 985, carefully gapped to .035 . Original plugs were in it, she clicked 80,000 today. Runs smooth as silk. Dropped the top , found a new trail on a property I’m remodeling and really enjoyed the warmer temps. Ready for spring.

Got home and fitted the easiest mod on Bruiser...a road registration card holder. My OCD was working overtime as the old one was stuck to the window crooked and it was bright orange...this Jeep one is much better.

Added a pic of Bruiser as she got a rub down and shine last Sunday.

Pissing down in Perth as well! I bought the same trail cover but its still in the box!
I am ready to buy the Trektop but dont want to spend now due to my recent OPDA problem, got the Crown unit in but want to give it a good run.
Where are you thinking of getting your new top from?

Cheers

Most in the UK would happily swap leaders with you guys. NZ 1 death for every c.190k of population, UK 1 per c.536 of population.

How many just had Covid but didnt die of it should be the Question!
My 61 year old sister died in the UK 31st December "with" Covid She was really sick before covid.

Edited through family respect and due to emotional over reaction.

I'm very sorry for your loss and hope my post did not offend in any way.

New water pump, thermostat, thermostat housing, coolant temp sensor, backflush the heater core, coolant system flush, new coolant. 4th new water pump since new-the one I just replaced only lasted about 50k miles. All of the others were right around 75k, give or take.
