Hey I have to stick up for the YJ's I bought mine several years ago bone stock with a 4 banger. I bought it to leave at my cabin for a fun little toy to cruse around in. At that time I was not aware of the J E E P thing. So i installed a little lift and 31's it was fun for a few years, then I added a BL and 33's. Then a re-gear and F&R ARB's, a winch, lights skid plates then In understood the Just Empty Every Pocket thing. I loved it I just got tired of the lack of power so I gave it to my son and started all over with an 05 stock Rubicon and then JEEP all over agsain.

Since this thread is alive again, I just saw this on a Facebook thread yesterday.
This would actually be a decent little YJ if you slapped a set of 31s on it (tires, not wheels.
) and removed all the chrome tubes.
