You know a little bit of what I was getting at was the fact that they are a lot different than a standard car.
I let my 14 year old son drive it about a mile and a half from our church home Sunday where I was letting him get driving lessons in a field... I'm pretty sure the hand of God put that Jeep back on the white line twice. He was in no way prepared for something that handled that quick.
My wife is a pretty good driver, but this is after 5 at fault accidents , 2 totaled Dodge Durango's, a crushed eyeball socket, and the child in the backseat during the last episode that finally slowed her down.
Yes I like my Jeep, and if something happened to it I could get another one pretty similar, and it would all be fine.
If something happened to my wife I might could get another wife that has a lift kit or some other aftermarket parts, but this one has been rock solid and faithful.
I know a guy who got a trophy wife ...but it wasn't First Place.
I do worry a little about anyone jumping in it and underestimating it's handling and getting hurt ...and at the same time , these TJ's are a quantum leap from the old CJ-5's in my opinion in terms of stability.
