Well, I narrowed down the dash vibration to worn motor mounts. This weekend I crawled underneath the Jeep to have a look and realized that the driver side will be somewhat challenging. Any helpful hints on how to attack this project?

In the past when I changed the motor mounts on my '98 XJ I used a floor jack and a piece of plywood under the oil pan to support the engine.
I asked for the assistance from a Jeep friend to cut down the beneath and above access.
Suggest you replace both motor mounts and at least inspect the transmission mount.

Ran into same problem scroll through bottom 1/2 this thread post #9 and it was my fix. Pushed the bolt out as far as I could, cut it with a grinder and replaced with a new bolt from other side. I couldn't figure out any easier way
I miss spoke... used the Anchor kit, it's Rubber (edited last response). Looked at several and blended them together in my head.
Thank you, that helpful! My jeep is lifted 6", so Ill need a large piece of wood to actually lift the motor with my heavy duty floor jack. Thanks for the advice.
Remove the bracket from the engine block on that side. Take the bracket and motor mount out the bottom. That will save your bolt. When you put it back in put the bolt in the other direction.
