Colorado Krew Hangout

Only if Dave ignores him taking a mortgage and not buying a house for cash, because Dave could buy a house for cash after making his bank.

Mostly kidding, he has lots of good advice.

It’s been a long time since I’ve listened to him, but I thought he was ok with the 10 or 15 year fixed? Trevor, you didn’t do a 30 did you!?!?! Uncle Dave may be disappointed. :ROFLMAO:

All I know is I have a 30 fixed at under 3% and I’ll never pay a penny over minimum. Going to let that ride as long as amortization allows! I have savings accounts that pay more than that.

Yes he suggests to never do a 30y, I have a 30y, I'm an embarrassment.

Having TWO project cars while still paying student loans alone would probably give him an aneurysm. He has good advice and a good perspective, but most of the advice he gives is for people that are in dire situations and need to cut back to avoid bankruptcy.

I'd rather take 5 years and have fun than 2 years and hate life, oh well

Wouldn’t worry about it too much. The fact you already own a home in this crazy economic environment and at your age, you’re already ahead.

I Always rent an A6 when I'm over here. and these new annoyances are getting horrible. can't figure out how to turn off the lane assist. So the car snaps to the center because I got to close to line. Four different areas to show the speed limit.

But man do they handle so well. Also Avis gave me a gasoline. 😔 Not diesel. Paddle shift too. "Germans- getting lazy"

Plus you've proven yourself as a true Rocky mountain home owner . You have a TJ , MR2 , Chevy truck , even a douchey BMW ! 4 vehicles for a single guy and his dog . You can always throw a little money at the home mortgage principle and cut years off the back end of the loan. Good job IBasket !

It's not that douchy! It's a good car. I even use the turn signals

Lane assist is a button on the stalk.

(Drove me nuts on the first long trip. Had to google it while driving down the highway...)
