Starting from square one

many on this forum will try to convince you to replace the 6" lift with something else. I love my 6" lift and I would suggests keeping it and perhaps adding better control arms and adjustable track bars front and rear. Your LJ looks awesome. Keep it.
So my overall plan is to replace the least amount of shit possible while getting the jeep where it should be. I'd like to keep the suspension lift, have no problem removing the body lift, especially if it's going to help the overall ride of the jeep.

Jbconversions SYE, JKS track bar, rockjock control arms and blaine's 1.25 body lift are now all on order. New rear drive shaft will be ordered once everything else is installed so i can get a proper measurement.

Do i need to buy these as well for blaine's 1.25"body lift? https://www.extremeterrain.com/jeep-wrangler-master-body-mounting-kit-55176180mk.html

Really thinking about just fully removing both axles, cleaning them up and throwing some POR-15 on them since I'm already most of the way there to removing it all.

Also, another question for you fine folk, I gotta alignment done a while back and they couldn't adjust my Y link enough to get my steering wheel straight (I'd have to cut like half an inch max off both sides of the threads where you adjust it to get my steering wheel straight) it's not off by much. Did the PO not get the correct size Y-link? What should I do? If anymore parts get added to this list I might cry 😂

Yes but I buy the Crown ones. I buy from Sunnit. Little less expensive. You can get em from lots of suppliers. @Chris woupd prefer you order from Amazon using his link that supports the forum.

The zinc coating on these and the extreme terrain ones WILL corrode in NY road salt, not sure about the salt in the air in Fla.

Alright so UPDATE:
control arms installed just need to do some adjusting with them, body mounts installed, transfer case will be put back together and installed tomorrow, with that, for those running the JB conversions SYE what signal converter do you use to correct the speedo?

The mount looks taller than stock to me, so I would say you do have a motor mount lift.

Honestly I'll take your word for it. No idea what a stock is supposed to look like on one of these 😂😂 currently got one of the axle shafts out let's she how replacing these bearings and seals go...

Measure frame to bottom of bolt and ask around. I couldn't guess based on a picture unless I could tell that there's a spacer block or if the mount is a known brand.

Here's a pic showing a different brand moter mount in standard and lifted versions. The pic looks much more like the lifted version than stock.

From the back it definitely looks like the second Pic. So motor mount lift is a yes.

Another update: axle shafts are out waiting for one more seal to come in then I can go to the auto hobby shop and press on the new bearings/reinstall the shafts. Monday the new drive shaft should be coming in. Then a quick verification of all my driveline angles and make sure I didn't forget to tighten anything... I should be able to do a nice little test drive on Tuesday!
