Flat towing with beadlocks ?bad idea?

If you can't flat tow, then you certainly can't drive the rig anywhere.
I think next year we might try and get an older rv to tow the jeep out west(driving is getting kinda old)I like the fact that I can do them myself.dont know much about them.
Thinking about some,the 15 inch choices are getting slim.
I’ve flat towed at least 7500 miles with them.
Can we flat tow on wheels that aren't DOT approved?
The years upon years of people arguing that the DOT approves wheels without evidence suggests otherwise.
