I know topics similar to this have been brought up in the past, but I couldn't find anything to really explain with what I have going on.

Ever since the weather starting regularly hitting the 50s to the low 60s about a couple weeks ago, a high pitched noise could be heard until the Jeep warms up. It's a 2004 Sport with the 5 speed manual.
At first I thought it was under the hood, but nothing from the bearings and the belt was recently changed out with the water pump. And this particular noise started BEFORE that.
It doesn't seem to matter if the clutch is pressed or not, and like I said it only happens on a cold start and stops when it warms up. I'm pretty sure it's coming from underneath and possibly the transmission, but not positive.
I attached a link to my video from today to try and capture the noise. You can really hear it after the engine comes down from a rev.
So before I start tearing everything apart, does anyone have any idea what this could be?

If it was the throwout, would it stop after it got warm?

Typically, if it is the throwout bearing, it can make noise when engaging or disengaging the clutch, but it might not necessarily stop once the Jeep warms up. It's possible that a cold start could exacerbate it, though.

Any chance it could be related to the transmission fluid? Sometimes old or cold fluid can cause issues until it warms up. Have you checked the fluid condition and level / condition?

Get an automotive stethoscope and start checking various places till you find the source

Agreed

Hello! I know it's only been a month but did you ever learn what the problem was? My jeep started having a similar issue so I ran to the forums. My transmission fluids look good and I did a change just to make sure. I'm starting to think clutch/throw out bearing.

Use an automotive stethoscope to pinpoint where the noise is coming from next. If you haven’t tried that yet, it might help you pinpoint where exactly the sound is coming from.
