No way to know- very rare- may be a casting flaw or metallurgy issue.
Likely never know
I know the first generation 6.7 PS were having catastrophic failures. Dropped valves, broken rocker arms and piston failures.
I know Ford jumped on those quickly and resolved them.
Ugh that sucks man, and those engines (and any modern diesel really) are so expensive to fix and maintain.
They have always been costly to maintain and repair, but the modern engines are really expensive. It is another level.
Put in a new phone holder. The vent balls were fine for street or light trails but not rocks. I have another for the passenger side coming, for some reason they shipped them separately.
Loaded it up for a day trip to Hollerwood (Slade, KY) to pre-run our trails for an event the first weekend of November.

I wrapped my aluminum armor , tailgate , corners and doors , I’m going to do the sliders , homemade flak armor, and motobilt aluminum fenders when I have time
It looks pretty good from 10 feet , the color shifts from bluish to green in the sun , the green is very close to the original color
What happens to a wrap when it gets scraped on a rock
It will scratch , and would have to replace it or leave how it is
The wrap isn’t to expensive, and did the install myself, it’s much cheaper than painting it just not as durable
No it’s like big sticker , it can be removed pretty easily with some heat but stick pretty well

Went for a ride and saw this guy guarding his house.
His buddy was waiting in the Jeep with his duck. Can't tell if this is @AndyG or @John Cooper? Backboard glass looks dirty, so I'm guessing it's Mr. Cooper driving his wife's JK.
