Other vehicles that work as part sources for a TJ?

...installing a Cherokee fuel rail in order to get a Schrader valve that many years are missing,

While this isn't a part from another vehicle, you can get this MOPAR 6539A hose and temporarily hook it up to get a fuel pressure reading. I haven't used it yet, just bought it and stashed it away when I came a cross it. You could probably make one relatively easy too.

If you are needing a AC/alternator bracket for a 97-98 Wrangler you can also use one off of a 97-98 Dodge Dakota
Actually that was one I had forgotten about. I've seen several posts about using a Durango or similar truck's alternator in a Jeep because of its higher amperage. I do remember some modifications had to be made to the mount point, but they were minor. I'm wondering if using the alternator bracket in tandem with the alternator fixes that.

The V8 Grand Cherokee tie rod is a lot beefier, direct replacement.
I'm running an AX15 out of a XJ (cracked my NV3550 housing), but you do have to clock the transfer case about 10 degrees but easy to do.
I've heard that with just a few mods you can run the JK Rubicon T-case, they are quite a bit cheaper than the TJR's.
I'm also running the WJ Knuckle swap, biggest fab mod there is your track bar brackets, but not too bad.
Also a '03 Windstar 3.8 Air filter box

and because I like to experiment a lot... I'm running Gladiator control arms... but you have to move frame brackets, drill larger holes so quite a bit of fab work. (so far I've been super happy with the experiment, will work nicely until I get ready for the double triangulated and 3 link in the front).

Couldn't resist the pic or FiFi. Seriously though, if you look up a particular part you need on Rockauto the listing shows what other dodge/chry vehicles share the same part. I will add once working at a Porsche/VW parts supplier some parts like the pilot bearing could be found in both the VW and Porsche catalogs. In the VW cat the cost was $1.13 in the Porsche it was $5 and change. Same part off the same bin location. How they billed that one I never knew.
