Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ engine mounts

What are the most reliable years for the Wrangler?

I've had almost every year TJ. The best year TJ to buy is the one that the PO did all the maintenance on, religiously. My 03' Rubicon is that Jeep to me. That's why it's the only Jeep that I've sold and bought back.

In a fit of stupidity and poor judgment, I traded my 97 away for a Tacoma. My son found Eugene 10 years later and bought him back on his 19th birthday and a few years later I bought him back from him. We have been together a long time, we just broke up for a few years and then got back together. I will NEVER get rid of Eugene again.

My 2006 has been pretty darned reliable for a Jeep. But then I changed out the OPDA (OEM wasn't a problem, just a preventative measure) right after I bought it (used, at 25,000 miles). Other than that, I've rebuilt both front and rear CV joints, which I attribute to the lift that was installed. But then...it just turned 54,000 miles. I drive it only when I really need its capabilities!
