What does everyone suggest for bump stop replacements?

I need to replace bump stops and cups on front/rear of my TJ. My 97 has a 3" Teraflex lift. What does everyone suggest? The cups on the front and rear are different, correct? Should I go longer bump stops than OE? I think they have OE on them.

A lot of us really like the Currie bump stops. It's highly likely you'll need longer than OEM, but the only way to know is to cycle your axles.

I’ve got 3 inch jks springs with bilstein shocks ,3 inch bumps in the rear and 2-1/4 in front. It’s also a rubicon so add 1/4 inch if yours is not a rubicon to the front number, but best to remove springs and cycle it like rasband said.

Just in case, be aware that the factory jounce bumpers are not bump stops.

I went with the Metalcloak DuroSpring bump stops. They really improved the ride. I added my own hockey pucks.
You really need to remove the springs and cycle the suspension. Guessing will probably get you close, but you could end up with two much bump stop (limiting your shock travel) or not enough (bottoming out your shocks).

How are these Metalcloak DuroSpring bump jounce holding up? Were you able to install them without removing springs?

Fronts you'll need to pull the coils. Rears you can do it with the coils installed.

Keep in mind the DuroSprings do not compress entirely like the factory jounce. I think they'll compress to .5"-.75". You'll need to factor that in when you're setting your bump stops for full stuff.

I've really enjoyed this product. Relatively cheap and a noticeable difference on the heavy hits. Bottoming out is far less jarring. I've had mine on for a little over a year now.

Thank you sir, good to know your experience has been positive with these bump stops. I placed an order last week, one of the member mentioned that he was able to install front one also without removing the springs and I am hoping for the same or else will have to wait for some time before I will get them installed
