Well I decided to try it out. I've heard nothing but good stuff about this plasti dip and I wasn't a big fan of the blingy rims so we'll see how it holds up. I put about 6 to 7 coats. The stuff is pretty cool. I kinda went crazy with it and started plasti dipping random stuff in the garage. Might try doing my rifle stock set and see how that looks and holds up. The video I watched they ran it through mud, water crossing and trails and then pressure washer and it survived but I'm feeling kinda skeptical about it. Did I put enough coats?

This was the first one I did. I messed up on it and didn't clean it very well so there were a few spots it didn't stick. I peeled it this way to see what it would look like before I peeled it all off. Still undecided. What do you think? It probably wouldn't get scratched if I just left it off the edge. The wife is getting these when it's time for me to change out tires then I'm going back to procomp but until then.

Nice work on the wheels and yeah once you catch the plasti dip bug you can't stop.... Did my wheels on my daily driver about 18 months ago then did my bumpers on my jeep.... They've survived pretty well so far plus touch ups are quick and easy

I put on 5 coats of black plus 3 coats of the glossifier on.... Seems to work
