98 Tj 4.0 hose circles in red pretty sure the smog guy ripped it as it was disconnected, anyone have a new part number or a different fix for the leak detection pump hose? I seen a fix for 5/16 silicon hose but it was to big. Thank you!

A mechanic for old cars I know uses a golf tee to plug the holes and then dips them a few times in Plasti-Dip. The can, not the spray.

That would of probably worked but where it tore it’s missing a piece, those little elbows had so much black soot on them hard to get that shit off my fingers

I have seen him make 90 degree ones from straight hose. Cuts the hose on 45, all but the back side where he wants the bend. Uses super glue to hold it together and then dips them. There are lots of the old classics where parts are no longer made so people need to be creative.

Hope you find the piece you're in need of.
