What have you towed with your Jeep?

Taking advantage of the LJ’s extra towing capacity, I see.
Ive towed about the same load as Srimes with my YJ and TJ, both had 4 bangers. Dont plan on any freeway driving to say the least or stopping fast.
Yeah I don't thing I went over 40. Definitely felt it wanting to push me around a little, especially in the snow. The tow capacity of the TJ is limited by handling and breaking control, not pulling. Take it slow if you're going to push it.

I'm shopping around and settled on a 5x8 high-side tube top trailer from Sure Trac. 900 lbs empty, no brakes mounted. The weight comes from the frame... lots of tube.
My plan is to to some axle work, add electric brakes, a tongue box w/electrical (battery, distribution), and use it as a combo utility trailer/RTT trailer. I have a telescoping rack design in mind. I don't know if I'll get to it this summer with what I've got in the queue already, but maybe I'll get lucky and knock the other stuff out early.

I've got a 5x10 single axle trailer I haul all sorts of stuff with regularly. Pulling isn't the issue at all, it's stopping if heavy, so just drive accordingly, planning well ahead.

I haven’t pulled a refrigerator too fast or too far (yet).
I have pulled our 18’ searay further than I care to admit. Pulling it is not the issue, stopping it is a whole other issue. Fortunately I have a 5spd with 4.88’s so I have a little advantage as far as pulling.
