I don't recall the Green Dingus... But the performance is over and done. It is for some kind of music video - we were backup dancers. Not sure how much of me will be seen anyway - I was in the back and it was dark with party spotlites moving all over the place. Its been over a year since I've done an updo - the 5,000 bobbie pins are a pain in the ass to get out and they hurt besides!
The "Green Dingus" was how you referred to the centering ball assy. of the double carden front driveshaft joint after you painted it green.Glad you enjoyed the performance . And I'm sure you are the only person on here that has 5000 bobbie pins !

Ah! Ok. As for the bobbie pins - I had to toss a couple or three that were bent, but then again, I have a pile of others from previous updo adventures. The gal that did this updo was a real pro - she got it done in about 15 minutes. I've never had one come out that quick, one time it took an hour and 15 although the gal doing that one got real fancy with little braids running everywhere. It was a real piece of artwork.
Of course, "5,000" is a humorous exaggeration, but it always seems like that many when it comes time to take one of these things down.
Isn't it good when you see a true expert at work , whatever their field of expertise !
It is - she did a great job. In a way, it reminded me of when the concrete was poured 3 years ago for our house extension. It was a complicated pour, no way I would have done it the way they could.
Saw Starship flying (likely as it was breaking up) as a small glow with a streaking tail behind it last night from here in Orlando. I turned my back to it to try and get a better view and when I turned back around, it was gone. No sign of it.
I didn’t record this but this is exactly what I saw.. wild to know I was watching it break apart live from about 350 miles away..
You'll be fine with whatever gears you have, as long as you keep it in low range on the highway.
However you will need to use some 5 1/2 foot spacers to use you stock wheels.
