Looking over my mom's Jeep this weekend, I noticed a huge oil leak around the engine bay and even on the steering system. When draining the oil, there was only four qt of oil left. Where could the oil be leaking I can't seem to find it.
Crank pulley seal. It's 25 plus years old. You probably want to replace the transmission lines to the cooler, rear main seal, oil pan, valve cover, water pump, timing chain and gear, crank pulley and seal. It's not a difficult job.

Its sad but true. For me I cannot get my balancer puller in without pulling the radiator. Its a good time to replace a lot of old rubber even if you start at the front and work you way back. Might also order a fan shroud as that one looks broken as well.

Good news is if you have A/C, the condenser shouldn’t have to come out. I did consider rigging up some kind of hoist and just lifting the radiator out of the way enough to do the job without draining it, but realized it was time for a coolant flush/fill so I just removed it.
I thought it odd there is oil residue on the front of the radiator as well.Obviously leaks will blow towards the back of the vehicle. Far as the missing oil does mum use juffy lube for oil changes? or it might be using oil these days.
