Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ engine mounts

What did you do to your TJ today?

Just washed it - again. You know its time to wash a black jeep once you roll the hose back up.

This is purely showing it off.

On this build, I really had nothing to do with it, hats off to everyone who had a part in building this. You guys spared no expense. Thanks for doing what you did.

12-13 years ago I was selling everything I could, refinanced my house and so broke alarms went off when I walked close to a bank.

What have I learned? Never quit. Never surrender. Hang in there and good things will come back around.

Thanks Blaine.

And thanks Mike.

Yup... Been looking for a chrome grill overlay as well. Figured that would be an easy DIY to wrap. I would have figured they would be as easy to find as bumper milk jugs. Not around here. Even with all the angry bird grills, no one has the overlay. If you choose to take yours off and want to off-load it, let me know. I looked into a wrap on my grill but those F'ng grill inserts wrecked the paint so bad it would show through the wrap.

We don't have any of those pick-n-pay salvage yards around here either.. I think that's what you guys call them
There's a used one on eBay but pricey.

My 1 year old Oreilly’s radiator blew its top yesterday, luckily, as I pulled into the driveway… this is the 2nd radiator that’s popped since i bought the TJ last July… The first one was also a “store brand” that was installed when I bought it… The Oreillys radiator has a lifetime warranty but I’m going to try an all aluminum radiator this time… maybe not having any plastic will keep it from bursting… time will tell…

Same exact spot 2 of the 3 O'Reilly radiators I had in my 2000 popped. I switched to the aluminum Cold-Case radiator. I've been very happy with it since installing it. O'Reilly gave me my money back on the radiator I took out.

Looks like it paid off at least. Looks killer

Thank you brother I’m happy enough I’ll quit fretting about it- Just felt like I created a lot of work for myself-

The guy that I got them from was a real TJ guy and he restores rigs and he agreed to sell them to me and lower price if I promised I was really going to spend the money to repaint them

So i did

I had a little struggle with the new door gaskets but I think I’ve got it OK

I’m just really in love with the rig for the first time because I did not realize it had transmission trouble all along-

When you get something just different from anything you’ve ever had you really don’t know what to expect with the tire size and gears and weight- it was way off on power delivery, especially at lower rpm.

I do think spending a little extra money on the transmission was a really good move and now I can’t seem to stay out of the vehicle. I’m riding around every night after work.

Jeep therapy. It works

I don't pay much attention to how my stuff ends up looking and I think you can tell when someone does in hundreds of small ways. So maybe the work is worth it if you are happier with the way it looks.

That sounds awesome man it's good to just be able to appreciate what you've got like that. There is something great about getting a vehicle just how you want it..

You’re exactly right- I tell people it’s not that I have what I want, but I want what I have.
