Thoughts on the below pattern? This is for a Dana 30 HP with new Revolution Gears.

You are correct that it is the tiniest bit shallow but that pattern would certainly run fine.
) and say the drive side(first pic) is possibly a thousandth or so deep.
Are you reading the curves at the inside and outside of the ring?
I was looking at the paint lines root and tip. Just trying to understand better. Have a bad case of covid right now so I'm pretty out of it
It is somewhat confusing to me that you see flat lines at the crown (top) AND bottom (root). Although the pattern looks centered between the heel and toe, it is up near the crown with a gap at the root which is why I thought a little shallow.
There's not a shop in the country that wouldn't run that pattern. Write that combination down so you can come back to it. I wouldn't add a "few" thou, I would add ONE thou, two at the most. Looks good
Here's the final pattern i'm going to run (unless someone tells me otherwise!). I kept the pinion at 55 but had to shift the carrier by .04 to open the backlash from .05 to .07.
@Woodrow the hard line in my last pics was definitely too much paint and not enough resistance on the ring gear when spinning it.
Next up is drill and tap for the air fitting, button it all up, then start in on the rear.

Nice work. If its NPT, like the ARB I did recently, don't run the tap more than just through. It screws in tighter that way.
It needs to be deep enough for it to seat. The bulkhead fitting will twist apart with too much force. I use the Blu plumbing paste instead of Teflon tape and they hold very well.
