Rubicon Express Super Flex Bolt Question

They should have come with 9/16-18 bolts and lock nuts. RE does indicate that the factory (non cam bolts) M14 bolts can be reused. If there is any question as to what they are I would recommend replacing them with 9/16 grade 8 bolts. I wouldn't want my control arms held on by some unknown bolts.

The only broken control arm bolt I have ever had was from RE. It snapped on the trail which allowed the axle to twist causing the track bar axle and opposite control arm brackets to tear out of their welds, a broken rear driveshaft u-joint, and a broken pinion yoke. It was a several hour repair in >100 degree desert heat.

This is the track bar repair. All from a shitty RE control arm bolt. The trail was Pumpkin Eater in SoCal.

I got a loose (or it just fly away when breaking) control arm bolt.. I was around 30 miles per hour and up in the Sierra Madre between Sonora and Chihuahua,it was dark and hundreds of kilometers from civilization, but one of the guys I was wheeling with carried a spare... is now one of my must-to-have inside of my jeep even tho I have grade 5 bolts in all my arms... it was not RE bolt but definitely was not a good quality one... at that time I didn't consider the bolt grades to be critical.... its different now as you may bet...
