What 12V air compressor do you carry in your TJ?

It's not 12 volts but this C02 tank will fill tires far faster than most compressors. Slightly less than 1 minute per 35" tire from 8 to 25 psi.

It cost under $200 to put together including the 10 lb. capacity aluminum tank, regulator, hose, and inflator.

I had a similar set up when I had my 82 scrambler. It worked well. Since I'm just getting back into jeeping, I'm trying to choose wisely where to invest my money. I do pay attention to your posts though.

Nearly 20 year old Viair 440p. Works great. I prefer CO², but the size and weight of the compressor is a better fit in the back of the Jeep.

The bag sort of disintegrated. But I found a place called Mobile Air Systems that sells Viair replacement parts and was able to get a new bag. The zippers on the new bag are way better than the original.

Ive got two viair 450p Compressors plumbed to one air line in my engine bay.

10psi to 33psi / 35" Tire in about 50 Seconds. Its almost as fast as my Co2 setup which would do it in about 35 seconds

Granted i paid about 180$ for both so yeah.

Im ditching Co2. Like everything else the cost to refill has gone from 10$ to 20$ and with how often i go wheeling im getting diminishing returns. Plus after using Co2 on 4 tires the lines start to freeze. So airing up my buddies tends to be slower than a single compressor.

My dual compressor setup can handle a few rigs before it really starts to show any stress and the air is free.

A twin usually does pretty good, but this number is probably at 0 pressure.

MORRflate TenSix lists this.

10.6 CFM dual cylinder compressor at 0 PSI
6.5 CFM at 30 psi

Exactly, it's for SURE not putting out 10.6 CFM or anywhere near that.

I’ve seen Victors work also. I saw zero issues with it.

It's cool they are selling them again. They were hard to find to near impossible when they were under the maxi trac name.

The reviews and videos on these seem pretty good. Especially for a budget option.

Bought the Napa Maxi Trac Dec 2021 for $105.00 for that price I’d figure it was worth try.
So far I’m impressed. I did make up a dual air lines for convenience.
Definitely not the last guy to be done airing up 37’s from 10psi

I was running a CO2 tank for many years. Got rid of it because the cost to refill it kept going up. It went from $13 to $24 within a couple of years.

Now running a Puma 3/4HP air compressor mounted under the Jeep. I also have a Viair 400H that is mounted under the hood, but is pretty slow with 37's. I had the Viair as a backup for when I was running CO2 and would just let the tank go empty before getting it refilled.
