I have been looking for full door weatherstripping for my 1997 hardtop sport but haven't found one that fits the door. It goes on well for except the section between the top of the window and the bottom of the window on the hinge side. The weatherstripping I purchased from Extremeterrain has an extra heavy lip in that section that prevents the weatherstripping from tucking in the grooves of my door. Extremeterrain told me that all aftermarket weatherstripping has that lip. A friend suggested cutting it off but I'm not sure it would fit properly. Has anyone else had the same experience?
