Ford F150 3.5 Eco Boost vs 5.0

Here she (Grenda) is on Vilano Beach Near St. Augustine last year.

They are crazy expensive, but it will do anything you ask. It's basically an SUV, 4x4 truck, towing vehicle, luxury vehicle, all in one.

Yet more GM trucks are sold every year.

Hecho en Mexico??

Pay attention to those VIN #s and dont buy anything that starts with a 3. Ford is the domestic leader fellas.

I was GM loyal til they dicked over America in 2008 & 2009. Obama and Bush let it all happen, and now the LSx legacy is gone to crap with GenV & all these cylinder shitdown crap eatin up engine valvetrains

Never wanted a Ford til that happened….
Now I have full faith in their trucks since 2011 as Apparition noted in SDs but also in light dutys

I had a brother in law that was a hardcore IBEW union guy. He and his wife always gave us crap for every foreign vehicle we owned. It felt soooooo satisfying to point out that my "Jap" car was built in the US and his Chevrolet was built in Mexico.

I'm all for supporting US workers but it's starting to become a question if the quality isn't in fact worse.

Yep Toyota Tundra was the #2 pickup iirc behind the F150 for years, and may even be #1 now for domestic prroduction AND sourced parts

Wrangler was #1 overall for a few years
Not sure now

GM took alot of heat for MOST crew cabs (biggest seller) made in Silao Mexico, and brought here for US sales. The F150 is also made in Mexico STRICTLY for the Mexican market as the Ford Lobos

Ford still can't produce enough trucks. If I knew I could order what I wanted I'd go see if I could work a deal out on a new one but I'm not playing the "we can't get this part so we removed it from your build" game.

Individual parts, maybe, but nothing around here is selling. Lots are almost full again. A buddy heard on the radio $9,000 off a new Gladiator.

Frankly I wont ever buy new from the factory again because of this fukkery from the Plandemic and hyperinflation

They have put waaaaaay too many electronics and INVOLUNTARY tracking systems into them for my comfort zone with my privacy. Per my buddy at the State Dept overseas EVERY new vehicle sold today tracks EVERY location its ever been to, and they do not inform the buyer of this

State Dept mercenaries and spies abroad recieve specialized training on how to disable and wipe clean these tracking systems because of the nature of their work. Americans are now lab rats for spying domestically

GM started it all with OnStar back in 1996, and the FBI was remotely and illegally accessing vehicles microphones without warrants. They were told to stop in 2003 and ignored the courts ….nothing happens to them either, and now its full scale

Speakin of Ford, did you see the $2 Billion in SuperDuty inventory sittin in an empty race field during the plandemic?? Waitin on Parts abroad….total shitshow what our politicians of the Uniparty allowed to happen

2023 order banks for Superduties filled up pretty much on day one. People still haven't received some of those trucks and are being rolled to 2024's.

One dealer has an allocation of about 400 2024 Superduties, in that allocation they have been given only 22 platinum model allocations.

Gladiators are stupidly overpriced for what they are in comparison to a normal truck. Look at their YTD sales change -29.49%.

i'm baffled at the difference between the Silverado and the Sierra, given that they are basically the same truck.

Also I wonder how many years are left for the hummer EV with that sort of sales performance.

The guy I know with the new Chevy calls GMC's the Gay Man's Chevy.

The guy I know that drives the GMC won't buy anything less than a Denali and thinks Chevy's are cheap.

For some reason they seem to dislike the other brand as much as they do Ford or Ram.

that's hilarious. If one did a hit and run on me in the street, I wouldn't be able to tell the cops which one it was. My mind registers them as the exact same thing.

1000% Spot On accurate.
Said that Day 1 when I heard how much they were TRYING To charge people for them.

I laughed, figured the nuance would wear off soon enough......took a few years.

While that's true, we can disengage at ANY time with our phones, and we should never just "Accept this"
I will end it there, because this will go political. I have a very unique background to display what I've seen, but that's for another thread.
