The lightbar on my Jeep is looking really sad. Some rust, wiring is worn out, not even that bright. Any suggestions on what to do? This is what I am currently thinking.

1. Refurbish bar, replace wiring, swap to these circular LED units (I have two on my sandrail and they seem good quality): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08PCK14TJ/?tag=wranglerorg-20

2. Remove it and put aux lights on the bumper (but maybe that is too much with a winch and fogs already going to be there?)

3. Replace it with a long rectangular LED bar. I'm not sure I like the look on a TJ.

4. ??? Something I don't know exists?

Thanks, Andy

12" LED bar, 30,000LM for $30, wow. KC Daylighters are only 2,500LM.

I almost guarantee that the LED bar has a color temp of 6000 or 6500 Kelvin. A lot of guys like that, but for me, at least, it makes everything look like an overexposed picture. That's why I stuck with halogens. I tried LEDs and they just didn't work for me.
I've still got them, though they're a bit dirty from sitting in a shed for several years, I'll let you have them for cheap. PM me if interested.

Thanks. I kinda like the Nilight unit with the warranty, but I appreciate the offer! (y) Andy

I went with all Rigid lights a smaller 10" light bar ( driving ) above the winch, Flood above that and their Side Shooter SSD on the A pillar, which are my favorite since they light up forward and the side. Also running KC replacement LED Headlights. I have more than enough to light up trails. I seam to end up coming back to camp after dark, so these help. Maybe rock lights would be helpful

I put a pair of LED daylighters on the bumper, only auxillary lighting I have. Pretty sure they're bright enough to see my future. Top picture is location, bottom picture is the lights on with nothing else late at night. On a side note, somebody posted something about lumens, 30k doesn't mean shit if it goes 12ft and then dies. I'd be more interested in the lux.

Today I removed the lightbar and this is the ugly mess underneath. Any suggestions on what I can do to make this look good and also make it waterproof?

Thanks, Andy

Thanks. Here is where I am at now. The bolt holes are 1/2" diameter and the wire hole is 3/4" diameter. I guess for the wire hole I am going to need some kind of rubber plug?
