Was that 3rd rule also for the parents ?
Don’t laugh…this is when it starts, especially with the girls. It’s very clear who teaches their kids how to problem solve life and relationships. Some of these parents I’m friends with and so are the kids, and in situations like this, it’s pretty clear why I don’t hang out with some of the other parents and neither do my kids.

Boys- love em, feed em and beat ‘em.
Girls- drama.
You know, what you are teaching them now is one of life’s biggest skills- emotional intelligence. It keeps people employed, married and happier. It is the glue that holds lives together. You’ll notice the parents that can’t teach it also generally have challenges you don’t.
I work with some dysfunctional people like that. Things won’t get better til they do.

We took our 2 boys and 2 girls camping every chance we had!!!
Tent camped with them, cooked on a Colman stove or open fire, they can all survive if they become stranded.
The fab skills are not pretty but functional- ran through my scrap pile and came up with door hanger material. tough decision now that one of the vent shades broke- to go with or without... ??

I just wanted to give you an update and say that I owe you multiple beers!
You prompted the purge solenoid in Jan. I replaced it and here in May i've had no hard starting or rough idle after start up after the engine is hot from driving.
You are spot on correct on your diagnosis of my troubles.
Vacuumed out the front carpet today, I was afraid if @AndyG saw it he might repo my Rubicon!!!!
I am sure there is a rule in the ethics book somewhere about keeping the carpet clean!

Hey Everyone: Been awhile since I posted/commented.
Changed the oil for the first time since August 2019–only put 2500 miles on it. Been busy at work, life, and such.
Decided to go with Full Synthetic High Mileage. Not sure if this is normal or I screwed up….everything I found showed 6 quarts with filter change. Well, I fit all the drained oil back into the 5 quart jug. I assume the remaining quart is in the filter, drain pan, and what didn’t fully drain out of oil pan. When I checked the dipstick, it read a little high!
I also fixed my rear washer tube with a 1/4” irrigation coupling! All seems to work. Anyways, enjoy the rest of your day!!

You forgot to clean the floor mats.
I vacuumed them off, just didn't wash them, supposed to be a chance of rain tomorrow!!!
Picked up a pair of near mint half doors that I found on Craigslist. Came with some type of storage bags and OEM half windows that were also near perfect.
took it to the car wash and hosed off as much mud as I could from yesterday, quite a bit harder to do with the top off

Not a tough choice at all.
Getting all of that adhesive off will be the toughest part.
BTW, I also had 1 break, so now we have none.
So, what happened yesterday?
Went up into the mountains with a local jeep club for go topless day, found quite a few deep patches of snow and lots of very wet, muddy mountain roads

Finally tied in the aux reverse lights today.
Fished the wires up into the tub and connected to the reverse light wire using T-clips.
Now that they are connected, I’ll probably never have to reverse at night again in my life.

These things work wonders for that. I got blisters on my thumbs, trying to remove the adhesive before I bought one.
