What did you do to your TJ today?

One of my favorite things about owning a Jeep. Free tanning in the warmer months.

What are these "warmer months" you speak of ?
Apparently eastern Washington/ northern Idaho has adopted a policy of permanent winter
The G/F just called to complain that it's snowing at the Spokane Airport

Warmer months would suggest that there are cooler months. Haven't really seen any... ;)

It’s almost 80* here in Appalachia today. It was 31* when I left work this morning though. With West Virginia you can never go wrong with a soft top lol

Got some interior stuff done today. I needed to install a cup holder on the grab bar and the shifter console needed to be moved back about a half inch. After the lift and SYE and a few other things my transmission was hard to shift with the external rubber boot in place so I had been driving around with it just dangling from the shifter lol two fresh drilled holes and some paint later everything is done and working as it should. I ordered a new internal boot because mine was all cracked up and dry rotted. $30 for an omix brand on Amazon.

Almost got rear ended this afternoon, stopping to make a left turn into the work parking lot- on coming traffic was thick, sleet/snow had just let up, rural 55mph highway, older Toyota 4runner I could see was trying to make some life decisions, hoping there was room to stop if he grabbed the little bit of shoulder between the Jeep and the significant drop to the irrigation ditch. decide I would give him the extra feet he needed and use the next entrance. Thankful that today was not THAT day.

Finally completed and installed my control arms to add to the adjustable rear uppers. Pregreased and antiseized them prior to install. They had some grease on them so probably would have been ok if I’d gone straight to install. But if Blaine pregreases them then I’ll pregrease too

New inner shift boot arrived today as I was ready to walk out the door to go wait in line for my kid to get out of school. I decided to grab a small socket set and drive to school to start my project while I waited lol 20 minutes later and the sun is beating down on my head since I dropped the top before leaving And I’m finished. I can wait to start driving down the road to get some air
