Bad PCM?

My daughters '01 TJ 4.0 Auto stalled on her the other day and will not restart. When I connect my scanner, I get "no communication". I've checked power (blk 2 & 22) and ground (blk 31 & 32) to the PCM and all of that checks good, but I also show a good 5v signal, both at the PCM and at several different sensors. I tried disconnecting as many sensors as I could find and that had no effect either. When I do the cluster check (hold the trip button and turn the key on) I get bus 60, bus 68 and panel open messages. Everything makes me think bad PCM, but the good 5v signal is confusing me. Any thoughts??? Also, battery voltage is good and it turns over ok. New cam sensor several months ago, not sure how old the crank sensor is. Still no communication with those disconnected.

@Fred_Cagedog Were there any others symptoms prior to the jeep stalling? Was the Jeep jump started recently? Were the gauges moving during the sweep test?

It stalled on her once before, maybe a few months ago, but restarted after a few tries. All of the gages test good during the cluster check, however none of them respond at all when the key is turned on normally. It hasn't been jump started that I know of. The battery is relatively new.

Take a hairdryer out to the jeep and heat up the ECM. It could be bad solder connections or the microprocessor going.
 
The cost will scare you. Go with Wranglerfix and nobody else, or you'll probably have to do it again.

Have you tried a hard reset (disconnect the battery for 10 minutes or more, then reconnect)?. It might get it running, but you'll still need to fix the problem.

Based on what I've listed, would you agree with my diagnosis? Is there anything else I should be checking? BTW, I like the discount code. They were a good band....

FYI-

BR549 got their name from used car salesman Junior Samples telephone number from HeeHaw. I watched most Saturday nights at Gradmaw’s house.

“Come on down to the lot and let one of our fine salesmen on parole work out the terms for ye. That’s BR549 and hold down the collect calls. I ain’t no Rockefeller, you know.”
