Door seal and air leak dilemma:

I replaced my door seal with the APDTY off of Amazon because it was leaking water into the driver footwell from being ripped. Replaced it, water still leaked in and the door seal became ripped again despite adjusting the door as best as I could. I also developed a VERY annoying air leak above 55mph.

I replaced the APDTY Amazon seal with the OPR from extreme terrain, it is noticeably thicker, but so thick that the door will not close properly without huge adjustment and even then you must SLAM it. Not only that, the air leak is now WORSE.

Does anyone have any tips to get rid of the air leak, and get my door to close properly again? Take it to a body shop?

I dealt with the same issue but mine were just worn from being 15+ years old. I would recommend finding OEM Mopar seals. Where is the air leak at? And do you have a hard top or soft top?

Did you ever find a better one that fits? I have a leak at the top corner where the door meets the windsheld frame. I tried the APDTY one, but now it leaks maybe even wores. And, Mopar doesn't make the OEM one anymore. I have pictures post at https://www.wranglerforum.com/threads/water-in-floor-board.2468116/
