Exactly - all somebody has to do is give it a good tug. It might would keep an honest person out but otherwise not much good

Yes sir we have a chain store down here that sells building materials that has a really good hardware selection along with a lot of little things like that and it’s probably about a 5/8” diameter I had to smooth the inside of the latch mechanism a little bit-
I just took it inside and found one that was close.
Does buying my TJ count as doing something to it?
Yes. But don't stop there.
I did similar, bought a rubber plug of the right dimensions from Home Depot.
My go to to remove a back up light switch - 02 socket -
Getting ready to upsize a track bar bushing to a JK bushing and Clayton bolt-
I resumed my chase down of why the blower only runs on high. Who cares when you're topless, but winter is coming. Replaced the resistor and the switch and no change. Next is to test if blower draw is too high and is burning out resistor. On the bright side, the wiper, washer and defrost are working again. Previous owner had wired in a trailer light harness and none of the things were working.
Oh also I replaced my sway bar discos on my XJ (sorry) with warranty parts from Rubicon express. I called and sent pics of bad ones and had new ones at my door 4 days later. No shipping or anything. Awsome.
Today, I installed a new Adams Extreme Duty front driveshaft. Now, the ol’ TeeJ rides smooth as silk!

So you’re putting the purple thing where the sun don’t shine?
Well, I dunno. If I drove like some of the Jeeps I've seen on Youtube and elsewhere, the sun would shine on it anyway!
