what reason are they giving you, that they can't install it.

The original spare tire is holding air. And it's been removed and replaced 3 times now.
before or after this started ? if they replaced it and now it has the problem that would point to it being bad. never mind we posted at the same time, i see the orig. spare is back on and holding air !
They had no problem putting the old spare back on 3 times now...
The first installer who put on 4 of the tires, said they have a stiff sidewall.
The second installer said it was probably a defective tire the first time. I got a new replacement tire, and they still couldn't get it mounted. Said they didn't have the correct equipment, and it's a tire shop?
I really can't get a straight answer from them. My guess is they don't have experience mounting A/T tires.

There's always the old starting fluid trick, but I suppose a shop which presumably has to pay attention to OSHA rules would frown on that.
Update: I finally got the new tire installed. The guy put a tube inside it temporally, had to leave it there overnight.
